Stir-Fried Water Spinach Spicy Recipe
Water Spinach is a kind of nutrient rich vegetables. Vitamin C in this vegetable is more than vitamin C in the fruits. This vitamin is well to prevent ulcers and raise the immune system. So the body is not susceptible to invasive disease caused by viruses, such as flu. Vitamin B-Complex and Omega 3 in this vegetable are enhancing the production of serotonin in our brains. So they can create an atmosphere of calm through the brain.
This dish is cooked with various seasonings, eg. thai pepper. It contains beta-carotene that has antioxidant properties. So, it can protect the cells from damage.
This menu is also made of tempe. Tempe is a kind of food made from fermentation of soy beans or some other material that uses some kind of rhizopus, such as rhizopus oligosporus, rhizopus oryzae, rhizopus stolonifer. This fermentation is also generally known as yeast tempe.

Ingredients:
a. Main Ingredients:
- 2 bunch Water Spinach, cut into small pieces
- 2 pieces onion, sliced into thin pieces
- 1 cm ginger, hit up bruised
- 1 cm galangal, hit up bruised
- 2 pices red chili, sliced oblique into thin pieces
- salt and sugar sufficiently
- 3 tablespoons oil
b. Softened Seasoning Ingredients
- 5 pieces red chili
- 5 pieces thai pepper
- 1 sliced thin tempe
- 3 pieces garlic
- 5 pieces onion
- 1 teaspoons shrimp paste
- 1 pieces tomato
Directions:
1. Stir-fried in the oil softened seasoning ingredients. Wait for a few minutes until smelling flavour.
2. Put in the ginger, galangal and chili. Stir it for a few second.
3. Put in the water spinach, stir it until well blend.
4. Add salt and sugar.
5. Lift up and it's ready to serve.
*Tips:
- Don't cut the water spinach before it's washed. Wash this vegetable firstly, then cut it into small pieces. It's to prevent the loss of nutrient inside of.
